Anna Garcia Busquets (Figueres, 1972) holds a BA in Hispanic Philology from the University of Barcelona, specialising in Literature (1995), an MBA from the ESADE Business School (1998) and a Master’s Degree in Introduction to Research in the Humanities. History, Art, Philosophy, Language and Literature (2013) from the University of Girona, through which she published Rahó de l'esperit (1709-1714) de Teresa Mir i March, l'autobiografia espiritual d'una laica. Edició crítica. She has been a member of the Modern Literature Research Group of the UdG (NISE) and a researcher of the Modern Catalan Literature research line of the Institute of Catalan Language and Culture (ILCC) since 2012. She is currently working on her PhD thesis on the study and critical edition of the civil and moral poetry of Francesc Fontanella, supervised by Pep Valsalobre, which forms part of the following research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness: Obra poética de Francesc Fontanella (1622-1682/83) (2013-2015). Edición crítica and Teatro y obra poética completa (II) de Francesc Fontanella. Edición crítica (2016-2018). She has published the study Notícia d'una mística catalana de principi del segle XVIII: Teresa Mir i March i la seva autobiografia espiritual Rahó de l'esperit in Scripta: International Journal of Medieval and Modern Literature and Culture (June 2013) and has presented the following papers: Els poemes laudatoris de Francesc Fontanella als liminars d’obres d’altres autors  (17th International Colloquium on Catalan Language and Literature.
